So my new idea is to build a new Camera Rocket that can take a film of the flight from the rockets view.

I bought a small second hand 3.1 digital camera that can take short films with sound.  My plan is to attach this camera to the top of the rocket which will separate from the main part of the rocket.  Once it has sparated the parachut will be deployed and it should float back top the groud recording its flight.

CR2 Update  19th August 2005

Well I tried out CR2 on the weekend in less then perfect condition.  I launched it first with out the camera and it worked perfectly.  Then I attached the camera, but this time when i launched the rocket the top stuck on and it crashed to the ground almost destroying the camera.

So down I need to modify the rocket making it so that it will alway sperate and make the camera safer so I can't destroy it.  :)

CR2 Update  7th September 2005

After some modification to CR2 I tried again.  But once again I still had troubles.  I ended up breaking CR2 so I guess I’ll just have to go back to the drawing board.

CR2 Update 6th November 2005

I have made some more changes to CR2 hopefully for the better.  I have changed the top section by replacing the bottle with a cone.  Also I have moved the camera to the mid section of the rocket.  With any luck these changes well improve the flight, parachute, and fliming of the flight.
